Terms of Use

1) The Service

Promtlo helps you save AI prompts once and insert them anywhere via a Chrome extension and a web app. You may store prompts in your account and use shortcut keys (for example //joke) to expand them. The Service may evolve and be updated from time to time.

2) Accounts & Plans

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU). You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity under your account.
• Free plan limits currently include: up to 10 prompts and up to 1,000 characters per prompt. We do not cap insertions; expansions are unlimited. Pro may raise limits (for example, more prompts or higher per‑prompt characters).
• We may adjust limits/features over time. Material changes will be announced in-product or by email.
• Trials/early access: we may grant time-limited Pro access at our discretion. Abuse may lead to termination.

3) Acceptable Use

• Don’t use Promtlo for illegal activity, harassment, malware, or content that infringes others’ rights.
• Don’t attempt to reverse engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service or our infrastructure.
• Don’t automate accounts or excessively scrape our endpoints.
• You are responsible for the prompts you store and for complying with the terms of third-party sites where you paste/insert prompts.

4) Your Content & IP

You own the prompts you save. You grant Promtlo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your prompts solely to provide and maintain the Service to you (e.g., syncing between devices, showing your library, enforcing limits). We don’t publish or share your prompts with other users.

All Promtlo trademarks, logos, and software are our intellectual property. Except for the limited right to use the Service, no rights are granted to you.

5) Third-Party Services

The Service interoperates with third-party services such as Google Sign-In (for authentication), hosting (e.g., Vercel), and databases (e.g., Supabase/Postgres). Your use of those services may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for them.

6) Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to that policy.

7) Disclaimers

Promtlo is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranties (express or implied) about reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for evaluating prompts and outputs before use.

8) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Promtlo’s aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Promtlo in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) INR 10,000. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business.

9) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Promtlo from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your prompts/content, or your breach of these Terms.

10) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse limits, or create risks for the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time. Certain sections (e.g., IP, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.

11) Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll notify you (e.g., in-app or by email). Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
